Scenes from the NeighbourFood market

Last sunday Rene and I went to the NeighbourFood market at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. The Westergasfabriek is an old industrial area that was once used for gasworks but now it’s an area filled with culture (cafe’s, restaurants, cinema, theater etc). The NeighbourFood market (every third sunday of the month) offers some great food, coffee, vintage items and vinyl from retailers that are based in Amsterdam.

puchlightsWe came across a Portugese food stand and got ourselves a puff pastry with piri piri chicken in it. Delicious!

After the puff pastry we got in line for some cappuccino’s at the Espressobus. The Espressobus is one of the most famous foodtrucks we have here in the Netherlands and it is known for their great coffee and their awesome vehicle (an old Citroen HY).espressobuscappuccinoespressobus cappu
